PRINT MOUNT has a comprehensive offering of products to turn photographic or lithographic prints into simulated artists’ works on canvas.  Specifically formulated for the Canvas Transfer/Canvas Bonding process, all our canvas is pre-coated with heat activated, permanently bonding adhesive.  We offer three unique weaves of commercial canvas to produce a range of canvas texture from fine to coarse.  Choose the canvas texture that best suits your clients’ expectations, or that best enhances the photo or print being transferred.

weave canvas is our best-selling adhesive coated canvas. This 7 oz 100% cotton artist’s canvas is double-primed, then coated with our FABRIC MOUNT Heat Activated Adhesive.  This canvas produces a pleasant amount of texture that is well suited to contemporary decorating.  It has a very regular, tight weave with good depth of thread.  

weave canvas is a 10 oz traditional artist’s canvas, primed and coated with our FABRIC MOUNT Heat Activated Adhesive.  This canvas produces a good amount of texture, best suited to the reproduction of 18^th and 19^th Century canvasses.

weave canvas is a 12 oz traditional artist’s canvas, primed and coated with our FABRIC MOUNT Heat Activated Adhesive.  This canvas is highly textured, making it the popular choice for transferring photographic media.

adhesive is a superior, multi-purpose liquid adhesive that boasts excellent bond strength.  It is well suited to canvas or fabric bonding, but can also be used to bond almost any two substrates, including wood, metal, plastic, paper and mounting board.  FABRIC MOUNT can be used while wet or can be allowed to dry and then activated with heat (150-210°F).  It can be applied by foam brush, paint roller or spray gun.  When wet, it can be thinned and cleaned up with water.  Once dry, it can be cleaned with lacquer thinner.

Clear acrylic glazing gel for adding brush stroke texture to canvas transfers or mounted prints.   Artist’s gel medium with UV inhibitors, polymer extenders for greater working time and binders for enhanced brush stroke definition.  Dries clear in 1-3 hours.

Interlocking, expandable artist’s stretcher bars available in whole inch sizes from 8” to 60”.  Brace stock and Single Sided Strainer stock available also.
